Highlights from Tuesday 9/8/09 Meeting

Tshirts
We need patches for polo shirts order from Cesco. Need screened art work as well.
Tshirt sponsors -deadline Thursday - Cora will send email to all
LOGO - kids camp shirt will have "bumper sticker " logo
- parent/team order will have just oval SHS logo only
Need to order 144 shirts for price break - will order parent/team and the balance of the 144 shirts needed will be the kids camp shirts.
Hold off for now on Screened Effects shirts - too convoluted right now.
Check "Artwork " fees - the artwork is done - see if this fee can be waived.

YOUTH Clinic
Gonzales/Bravo will decide this week if SHS can hold cilinic @ Dutch Clark without the SHS Booster club having to provide liablity insurance.
The kids all sign a waiver - No one is sure why this new policy applies to the kids clinic.
To be discussed/resolved next booster meeting.

Senior Night
Seniors are: Zach Woods, Lucas Garcia Jacob Snyder and Robby the Italian

Cora sent email to request donations. Cesco may have an IPOD by Best Buy
DiRito's will donate a $50 gift certificate for give away

TV GAME
Open item - Who is producing? AND Monday night must be cleared for the potential producer we are seeking. Monday night game (oct 19) with EAst. East has TENTATIVELY agreed to pay their $500 half to televise.

DINNERS
Need updated list for dinner sign up.
Monday the 14th is the Arellano's, the Shockeys, the Jones family helping the host Mike and Sue Cozetta.
Sept 28th we believe is the Snarich, Salas, Brenda Group.

Treasurer
Need Beginning Balance from Rhonda at the SHS activities.
Approximate Beginning balance is $1400. with Deposits through Monday last week the balance is $4722.

Cynthia contacted Lisa and was able to get permission from Gonzales for both East games for kids 14 and under wearing any jersey to be admitted free.

Sponsors Lisa has a list of 10 possible - she will contact and pin down by Saturday/Tuesday for money and logos. She has 5 already confirmed.

Coach reported 35 boys at the 1st day of tryouts and requested input for required practice kits.

We need a Schedule for Varsity and J Varsity Paractices - still TBD

Lisa will provide flyer for season opener dinner @ her/Mike's house for 8/29/09 -630-1030pm
Lisa/Mike will provide BBQ items: Hamburgers/Hotdogs/ Buns/Chips/Salad/Water/Tea/L-Ade

- Brenda will bring Pasta Salad
- Kathy Garner will bring Baked Beans
- Scott and Marina Jones will bring bottled Water/Gatorade

There will be a flyer and LIsa will ask for volunteers to bring deserts/ sides at the parent meeting

Bumpers stickers will be the Window decals for $250 for a quantity of 200?
We will sell the stickers for $2 each and A to Z reproductions will be the supplier.
We need 1/2 down payment. Dee will get po/check for this

1st Team Dinner: Monday Sept 14, 2009- 7 pm. Hosted by Mike and Sue Cozzetta at their house.
This will be a swim party please remind boys to bring swim suits/towels.

Practice Kit Summary:
the Required Practice kit will be 1 - reversable jersey; 1 - pair of shorts; 2 pair of socks.
The cost will be approximately $70 and additional shirts, shorts, warm up pants and jackets will be optional.

Camp Shirts:
these shirts will have the sponsor logos. The sponsorship fee will be $100 each.\
The current sponsors we have: Southern Colo Eye Clinic, Starbucks, CSU-P, Dee Weber mini storage of Colorado City, Brenda Passarelli - electrical company - Total of 5.

Community Service: 8 hours determined by Coach Miceli: Youth Clinic, Toys/Canned food drive, yard/home maintenance and possible foundation for soccer fees donations for ranger or middle school soccer for the youth.

Meeting dates are Monday's, 7pm. The location for this meeting will be at Starbucks on Pueblo Blvd. All current members need attend. If you are not able to attend, please contact President Mike Cozzetta 719.251.6555
